Happy New Year To All!
It has been a while since I've written on this Blog but I come today to encourage you. Though we see much trouble around us; we can take confidence in knowing that God is still in control. The Lord spoke three very important words to me concerning this New Year. He spoke:
Stay Focused: It is imperitve that we as Christians stay focused on the Lord as never before and in order to do that we have to have the faith to believe that God is who He say He is, the bible says in Hebrew 11:1, Now Faith is the assurance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Father I don't see it but I'm going to stay focused and believe you. Then the Lord said:
Be Persistent: The Father is calling us to press forward, He doesn't want us to be moved by circumstances or prombles but to keep moving forward. What does it mean to be persistent? continuing to do something or to try to do something even though it is difficult or other people want you to stop. We don't know what this year holds or what it will bring but even if it's difficult, we have do what God tells us to do and when God tells us to do something, it doesn't matter what others say, but it does matter what God says. Then He says:
Remain Balanced: The bible says in James 1:8 that a double minded man is unstable in all their ways It is not the will of God in this hour for His people to be up and down, in and out, wavering in every decision, tormented by what if's. I believe the Holy Spirit wants His people to be balanced in all of their decision makings, trustng God that we make right decision, but with that, we must remain focused on Him, pressing our ear to His mouth, waiting for the right answeres so that we can make the right decisions.
It is my prayer that this year will be a year of much sucess for the people of God. I pray that the power of prayer will change us, mold us and shape us into what God is calling His true believers to be. I believe this year that promises will be fulfilled and although their may be many challenges, take comfort in knowing that it is God that holds your future. Stay blessed of the Lord!
