Declared Righetous through the Blood

You don't have to be defeated in this life. There is power in Speaking the Blood.
Declared Righteous through the Blood

Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, throught the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. (Romans 3:25-26)

When Jesus shed His Blood, He brought complete redemption and forgiveness of sins, failures, shortcomings and mistakes-past, present and future-through the forebearance of God.  Our responsibility is to repent of these sins to receive the remission of sins.  The blood is so powerful that God declares, "For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more" (Hebrews 8:12).  The Lord declares us fit for the kingdom and worthy to be a part of the family of God.  Through the power of the blood we can live a pure, clean, holy and godly life before a holy God.

Our very nature is changed because of the blood of Jesus.  A lion or tiger would be just as harmless as a sheep if it didn't have the nature to kill.  Someone may be able to tame him, but inside he still has the heart of a killer.  We cannot help the sin nature we inherited through our Adamic ancestry because of the fall of Adam, but we can do something about it by accepting the blood sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.  That is what the cleansing blood of Jesus is all about.  Because of the blood, we are declared righteous.  This gives us the rights to all the covenant promises and blessings that apply to us in both the Old and New Testament, as well as giving us access into the Holy of Holies-into the very presence of God-through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  There we can boldly make our request known to God because we are made "the righteousness of God" by the blood and because of our covenant partnership.  We can be greatly hindered from coming into the presence of the Lord when we bring up someone's past that has been forgiven and is under the blood.  1st Corinthians 11:30 warns us that judging another can be dangerous: "For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep (die)."  When the Apostle Paul was discussing the Lord's Supper, he reminded us to avoid judging each other.  We are to remember we are redeemed by the blood and are forbidden to be judges of others.  We are what we are through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ and are not save by our works or goodness:  The Bible does tell us, however, that our works follow us (Revelation 14:13).

The Bible makes it clear that without the shedding of blood, there would be no remission of sin: "And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission" (Hebrews 9:22).
